Luke Lee rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns as the Trojans came up short in a 42-36 loss to Honey Grove on Friday night at Mewbourne Field.
Lee ran 37 yards on his first touch of the night, foreshadowing what was to come.
The first quarter was scoreless until 2:28, when Logan Bradford ran in a 4-yard touchdown for All Saints.
It was a physical game, with Morgan Bain and Luke Lee providing some big hits for the Trojans defense.
The second quarter was all Honey Grove as the Warriors scored 22 unanswered points to close out the half.
The beginning of the third started out the same, with a Bobby Newman scoring scamper.
All Saints quarterback Matt Brunson followed his line into the end zone on a 15-yard scamper to close the gap.
Lee scored on a 15-yard, prompting an onside kick, which Trevor Evans recovered to the adulation of a riotous crowd on Senior Night.
Brunson scored again for the Trojans and Lee converted the 2-point run as All Saints pulled within 36-26.
The next onside attempt failed and Honey Grove’s Jeremy Patt scored from 8-yards out.
Lee would again score for All Saints with 29 seconds left, but the fourth quarter heroics could not compete with the clock.
All Saints will travel to face Dallas First Baptist next week.
