PHOTOS: The Women’s Symphony League of Tyler Style Show Thursday

The show and luncheon featured the latest in fall fashion by two Tyler local businesses, Mary V by Shelby and fine jewelry by Ramsey Fritz Jewels. The event was a fundraiser for the Women Symphony League. The Women Symphony League was founded in 1955 to support and promote the growth of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra and to encourage music education within the community. With more than 700 members, the organization raised more than $120,000 last year. These funds support the East Texas Symphony Orchestra, the Tyler Youth Orchestra, the Women Symphony League Endowment and Memorials, Kirshbaum Strings, TASO Youth Concerto Competition, and other music education programs.

Participants in the Women’s Symphony League style show took the stage during the finale of the show Thursday at Villa di Felicita in Tyler. Dr. Sherry Munn, of Tyler modeled a dress and purse from Mary V’s by Shelby. Melissa Jackson, of Tyler, modeled clothes from Mary V’s by Shelby. Mary Johnston, of Tyler, watched models take the runway.
