ETMC offers seminar on joint pain and arthritis

 



East Texas Medical Center will offer a free KnowledgeFirst Forum on joint pain caused by arthritis with Dr. Joseph Conflitti and Dr. Scott Devinney of the ETMC Orthopedic Institute at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the ETMC Pavilion, 801 Clinic Drive.

Physicians said more than 43 million Americans suffer from some form of arthritis and there are treatment options whether it is a daily annoyance or a debilitating disease.

Doctors will discuss different forms of arthritis, how to diagnose the problem and what to do to live a pain free life. Free parking is available next to the ETMC Pavilion. The gate and building will open at 9:30 a.m. To preregister, call 866-333-ETMC and press 6.

Cherokee County offers extended vaccination clinics

 

Cherokee County Public Health is offering extended-hour vaccination clinics in time for back-to-school.

All-day, extended-hour clinics will be held from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday. It will return July 11, 18 and 25 and Aug. 1, 8, 15, 16, 22 and 23.
