Firefighters were called to a structure fire at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parrott Park Agriculture Museum at 2900 S. Main in Lindale.
Lindale Fire Chief Cory Crowell said firefighters found the women’s restroom on the north side of the park to be engulfed in flames, but the fire was quickly knocked out. The fire damaged the outside wall and some of the roofing of an adjacent facility, but did not spread to any other parts of the museum. The restroom facility is a total loss, the fire chief said.
No one was injured in the fire, and no one was at the park when the fire started, Crowell said.
Firefighters from Dixie, Red Springs, Van and Lindale all were at the scene. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
