Aimed to recognize and celebrate individuals who have made a significant impact in their communities, the initiative kicked off on May 6, the start of National Teacher Appreciation Week, and concludes at the end of the month.
“As an educator for over 10 years, launching Feet for Thought in Tyler is especially significant to me,” said Brandi McDonald owner of The Good Feet Store in Tyler. “Through this initiative, we can continue our mission of empowering individuals to live their lives to the fullest.”
From dedicated educators to compassionate mentors and selfless volunteers, unsung heroes in Tyler can be nominated to win a complementary Good Feet Store Arch Support System, which, according to a press release, is clinically proven to provide significant pain relief in only 4 weeks.
“By celebrating the local education heroes who make our community a better place, we recognize the incredible contributions they make each day,” McDonald said. “My fellow educators, mentors and volunteers go above and beyond every day. We’re honored to show our appreciation and support by offering them the gift of pain relief and comfort through our arch support systems.”
Based on recent studies, teachers spend up to 70% of their working day standing or walking. Standing for hours at a time can lead to pain and discomfort, hindering the enjoyment and sense of fulfillment that professionals may get from their roles in the education system.
“This campaign comes from the heart and underscores our commitment to taking care of those who take care of us,” said Doug Zarkin, Chief Brand Officer of Good Feet Holdings. “These individuals are often overlooked in the day-to-day, yet they play an invaluable role in shaping the future generation and our communities. This is our way of expressing gratitude for their dedication by helping to improve the quality of their lives – two feet at a time.”
