WHAT HIS COACH SAID

Will Vogler is a force to be reckoned with. I have been Will’s coach for the past six years. What I have been able to witness has been extraordinary. In his first district race I sixth grade, his team won by one point. Because of this, he understood early on that every place really does count, every runner counts; no one can do this alone, it will take everyone. Running was always his gift, but each year, Will learned to harness more and more of his potential to really see it through. This summer, Will took his running to the next level in some big ways. He would be the one that would push and encourage his teammates to do an extra run, go a little faster, run a little further. He had a no nonsense approach, but it was contagious — and one by one everyone caught it. Long distance running is a difficult task, it is definitely not for everyone — but with Will leading the charge, not only did everyone keep getting stronger and faster, but they truly loved the sport.
