Pizzeria coming this fall

A new pizzeria is coming to Tyler.

Parry’s Pizzeria and Taphouse recently broke ground on its new location at 3314 Troup Highway in Tyler. The area is the same spot Salsarita’s and Roost were previously located.

Parry’s Pizzeria serves New York-style pizza and craft beers. It has locations in Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.

In February, it was announced that the building housing Roost on Troup Highway and Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina would be demolished for future developments. Salsarita’s closed its doors, but Roost said it had plans to relocate at a later date.

The building has since been demolished, and a Facebook post showed Parry’s Pizzeria has officially broken ground for the upcoming location. The restaurant is scheduled to open this fall, according to its website.

Parry’s Pizzeria in Tyler will serve “craveably crafted” New York-style pizza, wings, calzones, sandwiches, wraps, salads, pasta, kid’s meals and more. There will also be 72 taps of rotating craft beers.

Hours will be Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., according to the website.
