The woman accused of murdering her husband is jailed on a $500,000 bond. 53-year-old Rebecca Barker is charged with first degree murder.

According to an arrest affidavit, Barker told police her husband was verbally abusing her all day and “she couldn’t take it anymore.”

Rebecca told officers she shot her husband with a .357 magnum.

CBS 19 has also learned Rebecca Barker was indicted on April 15, 1996 for attempted murder against her first husband, and received ten years deferred adjudication.
