The family moved several times following his father’s work, and settled in East Mountain, TX, where Byron met the love of his life, April Star, in the seventh grade and ultimately graduated high school. He was valedictorian, pitcher for the baseball team, and quarterback for the football team, well liked by his classmates. Byron attained a degree in Business from SMU and after college went to work for The Trane Corporation where he retired as CFO after 40 years dedicated service. He was well liked and respected by his coworkers. While in college, Byron and April were married. They raised their family and shared a wonderful life until her unexpected death in 2005. After recovering from his great loss, Byron met JoAnn and they were married and were very happy. He was smart, funny, kind, thoughtful, and became her best friend. He will be greatly missed.
