Soon after attending a day care for the first time, 6-month-old Maylee Tuley was diagnosed with viral meningitis.

After recovering from sickness, Maylee’s mother, Baylie Tuley, couldn’t fathom not being the person to watch over her daughter during the day.
Baylie also couldn’t fathom falling out of shape for lack of a gym where she could bring Maylee.
She found her solution after joining a FIT4MOM in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, near where she and her family lived at the time.
During workout sessions, Baylie’s children, Maylee, now 2, and Brayden, 1, could remain in their stroller as she powered through workouts alongside other moms with their children in clear sight. Moms’ nights out and play dates arose from her involvement in the program.
Now a resident of Tyler, her husband’s hometown, Baylie recently began bringing the FIT4MOM experience to local moms looking to build strong bodies and friendships.
“It was a place where I could go and talk and hangout with other moms in a judgment-free zone,” Baylie said. “…It literally was my life.”

The location of the workout varies, but participants can stay updated by following FIT4MOM Tyler’s Facebook page. Membership for unlimited classes each month is $55. Moms can try the first class for free. Registration can be done online at tyler.fit4mom.com.
Baylie said she sees the business growing over time and hopes to offer more classes and feature additional instructors.
“God had been telling me ‘here, this is what you need to do’ and I finally took a leap of faith…” Baylie said in reference to her decision to open the business. “My life has changed in just over a month.”
