Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System commissions Jason Proctor as president

Jason Proctor, the president of Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System, was commissioned for his new role during a ceremony this past week.

The blessing was held on Thursday in the chapel of Christus Mother Frances Hospital – Tyler, with The Rev. Luke Kalarickal, assistant director of Pastoral Care, and Sister Malagorzata Majszczyk of the Holy Family of Nazareth presiding.

In December, Christus Health announced that Proctor was  the new president of the health system

“Jason has helped successfully guide Christus Mother Frances Hospital – Tyler for several years, playing a large role in achieving numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding patient care, safety and service to our associates and this community,” said Chris Glenney, senior vice president of Group Operations and Christus Northeast Texas Region CEO.

“He has benefited Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System with his leadership and faith and is an asset to every patient we care for. Jason will be a tremendous asset to the people of Tyler and Northeast Texas in his new role,” Glenney said.



Proctor has more than a decade of operational leadership experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit health care. He previously was the chief operating officer for Christus Mother Frances Hospitals – Tyler, South Tyler and Christus Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital – Tyler since 2014. 

“Jason is dedicated to taking care of our patients and their families and is devoted to doing the right thing on their behalf,” Glenney said. “He is a tremendous example of the core values of Christus Health and believes passionately in our mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to those we serve.”
