HAWKINS — Eli Smith recorded 13 strikeouts, walking five and combining with Colt Smith on a no-hitter as Hawkins blanked Big Sandy 10-0 in District 18-2A action.



Smith went 5.1 innings on the hill, and Smith finished with two thirds of an inning.

Paxton Metcalf doubled, singled and drove in three runs for the Hawks. Brayden Givens tripled, singled twice and drove in a run. Eli Smith added a double, single and RBI. Riggin Smith tripled, doubled and drove in one. Tilar Maberry had two hits, and Landen Burns doubled.

LONGVIEW — Cole Ramey tossed a four-hit shutout and helped his own cause with a couple of hits and an RBI, and the Longview Lobos blanked the Center Roughriders 6-0 on Tuesday.

Ramey went the distance on the hill, striking out seven and walking just one. At the dish he was 2 for 4 with a triple.

Roman Guidrey had three of the Lobos’ 14 hits, driving in a run. Damien Kennedy doubled, singled and drove in two runs. Javarey Valentine and Payton Woods both added two hits, and Cy Marsh and Lawson Tubb both singled and drove in a run. Drew Flores chipped in with a single.

The Lobos will visit Center on Thursday and open District 10-6A play at home next Tuesday against Rockwall.

SPRING HILL 15, HENDERSON 2

HENDERSON — Spring Hill spotted Henderson a 2-1 lead after three innings before erupting for five runs in the fourth on the way to a 15-2 District 16-4A win.

Grant Burton struck out 12, walked five and gave up t—wo earned runs in 6.2 innings for the Panthers. Mason Barnes tripled, singled and drove in five runs to pace the offense. Trent Thompson added two doubles, a single and two RBI. Cayden Rhodes singled three times and drove in two runs. Corbin Broyles and Eli Emery had two hits apiece. Travis Allen tripled and drove in a run. Reid Noon had a double and two RBI, and Cayson Wilkins singled and plated two runs.

KILGORE 15, PINE TREE 3

LONGVIEW — Cason Edney struck out seven, walked two and allowed one earned run on three hits in seven innings as the Kilgore Bulldogs earned a 15-2 District 16-4A win over the Pine Tree Pirates.

Joseph Hendrickson tripled, singled twice and drove in five runs to pace the Kilgore offensive attack. Edney added two singles and two RBI, and Jackson Tucker Phillips, Kolton Hale and Miles Applegate all added a hit and two RBI. Brayden Williams chipped in with a single and an RBI.

Chris Nickoles had a single and an RBI for the Pirates. Trey Scroggins doubled, and Bryllon Medrano added an RBI. M.J. Cates struck out six in five innings.

HALLSVILLE 6, TEXAS HIGH 4

HALLSVILLE — The Hallsville Bobcats scored three times in the bottom of the sixth to rally for a 6-4 District 10-5A win over Texas High.

Kaden Akin struck out four and walked three in six innings, and Carter Hatchel fanned two of the four batters he faced in one inning for Hallsville.

Dunn Smith tripled, singled and drove in three runs for the Bobcats. Hawk Haynes doubled, singled and plated one run. Cade Stuckey added an RBI, and Kade Chappell homered.

TATUM 11, ARP 1

TATUM — Colt Bullard struck out 11, walked two and gave up one earned run on one hit in 4.2 innings, and the Tatum Eagles notched an 11-1 win over Arp in District 16-3A action.

Cooper Whiteus doubled, singled and drove in three runs for the Eagles. Kody Hines had a double, single and two RBI, and Dustin Henigan singled and drove in two runs. Cayden Tatum and Grant Adcock both doubled, and Adcock drove in a run.

Abraxton Martin had both Arp hits and drove in the lone run for the Tigers.

GLADEWATER 6, TROUP 0

TROUP — Sean Burke struck out six, walked one and allowed no runs on three hits as the Gladewater Bears notched a 6-0 District 16-3A win over the Troup Tigers.

Aubry Floyd singled twice and drove in a run for the Bears. Luke Brown doubled and drove in a run, Mason Budro added two RBI and Landen King drove in one run.

NEW DIANA 12, PALESTINE 2

DIANA — Justice Hankins, Remi Rountree and Keaton Bogue all collected two hits, and Rountee, Bogue and Levi Green drove in two runs apiece for New Diana as the Eagles notched a 12-2 non-district win over Palestine.

Hankins and Rountree doubled for the Eagles, and Hankins, Ayden Hamilton, Lucas Newland, Hadley Overby and Colt McDowell all collected RBI. Five eagles saw action on the mound.

BECKVILLE 13, UNION GROVE 2

UNION GROVE — Aiden Brantley recorded a dozen strikeouts and walked just two, giving up no earned runs on three hits in six innings for Beckville in a 13-2 District 19-2A win over Union Grove.

At the plate, Brantley singled twice, drove in two runs and scored four times. Brock White had two singles and an RBI, and Jackson Lambright, Coy Stephens and Braxton Bullock all drove in runs.

Carter Cooper singled and drove in a run for Union Grove.

ORE CITY 8, ELYSIAN FIELDS 7

ORE CITY — Ty Main doubled, singled and rove in four runs, Cayden Laster struck out out nine with two walks and one earned run allowed in five innings and the Ore City Rebels earned an 8-7 District 19-2A win over Elysian Fields.

Aydin Thomas struck out three with one walk and no hits or runs allowed in 1.2 innings for the Rebels. Gage Cavanaugh singled twice. Dalton Smauley added a single and two RBI. Thomas doubled, and Maverick Main drove in a run.

Evan White, Nunu Kennedy and Brody Parker all pitched two innings for Elysian Fields. Parker singled twice and drove in two runs. Braedan Adkins doubled, and John Beavers collected an RBI.
