Michael Jr at Grace Community School

Comedian Michael Jr. is coming back to Tyler.

He will headline Grace Community School’s annual scholarship banquet, “More Laughs With Comedian Michael Jr.,” on March 26 at the Green Acres Baptist Church CrossWalk Center. The comedian was the emcee in 2012 and the school invited him back this year.

The family friendly event raises funds for the school’s scholarship programs, which help about 25 percent of their students. Past hosts have included former college quarterback Tim Tebow and former President George W. Bush.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 21.
