CEDAR HILL — Presley Johnston a threw a no-hitter and struck out nine as the Grace Community Lady Cougars defeated Cedar Hill Trinity Christian 21-1 on Tuesday in a softball game.
Johnston was also 2 for 2 at the plate with a home run and five RBIs. She also scored four runs.

Maddie Flanery and Landry Fowler hit triples with MaKayla Camp and Rachel Labat contributing doubles.
Victoria Redding was 4 for 4 with four runs scored and an RBI.
Kellen Hendry had three hits with Flanery, Fowler and Labat adding two hits apiece. Brianna Carlson also had a single.
Others with RBIs were Labat (4), Flanery (2), Camp (2), Henry (2), Fowler (1) and Carlson (1).
Others scoring runs for Grace were Fowler (4), Labat (3), Sheldon Furqueron (2), Flanery (1), Camp (1), Hendry (1) and Claire Faulkner (1).

ARP — Analese Cano belted a grand slam and Kinzee Settles added a homer as the Harmony Lady Eagles defeated the Arp Lady Tigers 13-0 on Tuesday.
Cano and Settles also combined on the five-inning one-hitter. Cano pitched three innings, allowing a hit while striking out six and walking one. Settles hurled two innings and did not allow a hit while striking out three and walking two.
Cano had two hits with five RBIs and two runs scored with Settles also contributing two hits, two runs scored and an RBI.
Other Harmony players with hits were Ryann Murphy (2), Marlee Seahorn (1), Delaynie Nash (1), Alexa Makowsky (1) and Jenci Seahorn (1).

KILGORE — Kristen Wilson struck out 10 with no walks in a one-hit shutout, Miah Thomas banged out three hits and drove in two runs and the Kilgore Lady Bulldogs blanked Spring Hill, 10-0.
Wilson and Bailey Hedges both doubled for Kilgore, with Hedges adding a single and two RBI and Wilson singling and driving in a run. Mackenzie Cavanaugh had two hits and an RBI, and Genna Cavanaugh also drove in a run.
Samantha Schott had the lone Spring Hill hit. Schott also pitched for the Lady Panthers, striking out five with no walks.
BULLARD 7, GILMER 1
BULLARD — Kaylee Paul doubled and drove in two runs to lead the way on offense, and Ariel Matula took it from there – striking out 17, walking one and allowing just one hit in a 7-1 Bullard win over Gilmer.
Payton Hancock and Claire Cannon drove in runs for Bullard.
Madeline Barber had the lone hit and lone RBI for Gilmer. Barber also pitched, striking out six and walking five while giving up two earned runs.
WEST RUSK 13, WINONA 0
NEW LONDON — Makana Morton tossed a no-hitter at Winona, striking out 11 and walking two in a 13-0 win.
Morton also helped her own cause with three hits and three RBI. Allyson Floyd belted a grand slam in a seven-run second inning, finishing with two hits and five RBI. Natalie Farrow doubled, singled twice, drove in two runs and scored three times, and Sydnee Martin also drove in a run for the Lady Raiders.
ELYSIAN FIELDS 4, NEW DIANA 3
ELYSIAN FIELDS — The Elysian Fields Lady Yellowjackets used a three-run fifth to build a 4-1 lead, and held on for a 4-3 win over New Diana.
Christen Smith doubled and singled, Kayla Evans added two hits and Jessica Guilhas, Shayla Mathews and Kailyn Clynch all drove in runs for Elysian Fields. Mathews handled the pitching chores, striking out 10.
Karly Meshell tripled once and singled twice in the loss for New Diana. Heather Zook doubled and drove in a run, and Madison Brown added a couple of RBI. Haley Manns fanned four and walked two, giving up no earned runs in three innings. Joelle Newton struck out one with no walks in three frames.
HUGHES SPRINGS 14, JEFFERSON 0
JEFFERSON — Grace Pippin tossed a no-hitter, and Hughes Springs backed her with 13 hits in a 14-0 win over Jefferson.
Pippin struck out seven and did not walk a batter, throwing 40 of her 57 pitches for strikes in a five-inning game.
Zoe Lanier and Jacee Short both tripled for the Lady Mustags, and Marisol Kennedy, Pearl Perry and Lauren Spaniol all doubled. Short finished with three hits and three RBI. Karmen Searcy, Kennedy and Lanier had two hits apiece. Pippin drove in two runs, and Abbye McKinney, Kennedy, Perry, Spaniol and Lanier all chipped in with RBI.
TATUM 16, WASKOM 3
WASKOM — Four Lady Eagles had multiple hits and five Tatum players drove in at least two runs in a 16-3 win over Waskom.
Anna Halton tripled for Tatum, and Alannah Courtney, Trinity Edwards and Tamya Garrett all doubled. Kaitlyn Terry had three hits and two RBI. Adrianna Bradley finished with two hits and three RBI. Edwards and Garrett had two hits apiece, Courtney, Garrett and Bailea Densman two RBI apiece and Breannica Kirkwood and Latoria Davis and RBI apiece.
Densman struck out four and walked one for the pitching win.
For Waskom in the loss, Skyie Middlebrooke had two hits.
ORE CITY 15, DAINGERFIELD 0
ORE CITY — Anna Green blanked Daingerfield on just one hit and helped her own cause with three RBI as the Ore City Lady Rebels rolled to a 15-0 win.
Green struck out six and did not walk a batter. Andi Freeman tripled, singled and drove in four runs for Ore City. Ryleigh Larkins and Abbi Smith added doubles. Tori Pena had two hits, Smith two RBI and Pena, Larkins, Emily Hoosier and Hannah Pendarvis an RBI apiece.
Montrevia Durham had the lone hit for Daingerfield.
NEW BOSTON 13, HOOKS 0
HOOKS — Lauren Daniel banged out four hits and drove in three runs, Morgan McAlexander added four hits and an RBI and New Boston rolled to an 11-0 win over Hooks.
Haley McAlexander and Alexis Morden added three hits apiece for New Boston, which finished the night with 21 base knocks.
Abby Russ had the lone hit for Hooks against Morgan McAlexander, who struck out 10 and walked one.
CARLISLE 15, HAWKINS 2
PRICE — Tori Esters struck out sevne and allowed just one earned run on two hits as Carlisle earned a 15-2 win over Hawkins.
Megan Beene doubled, singled, drove in a run and scored three times from the top of the lineup for the lady Indians. Bree O’Neil and Holli Williams drove in two runs apiece, and Hagen Grigsby, Esters, Heather Jones and Katelyn Winfrey all drove in runs.
OVERTON 7, UNION GROVE 1
OVERTON — The Overton Lady Mustangs built a 5-1 lead early and put things away with a couple of runs late in a 7-1 win over Union Grove.
For Union Grove in the loss, Sydney Chamberlain and Madelynn Lacaze finished with three hits apiece. Both players doubled, and Chamberlain drove in a run. Hannah Carter added two hits for the Lady Lions. Maddie Clowers struck out five and walked one in the loss.
TIMPSON 10, ALTO 6
TIMPSON — The Timpson Lady Bears held on for a 10-6 win over Alto.
Jalyn Tobias doubled twice for Alto, which scored four times in the sixt. Abby Bernard added three hits, Annie Cox two hits and Abbie Teutsch a double. Teutsch, Maquela Jackson, Haley Hester, Makayla Black and Areli Perez all drove in runs.
Teutsch struck out one, walked two and gave up three earned runs in 5.2 innings.
LATE MONDAY
TROUP 8, SABINE 0
LIBERTY CITY — Lindsay Davis struck out 16, walked one and gave up just two hits in a complete game as Troup rolled to an 8-0 win over the Sabine Lady Cardinals.
Davis also helped her own cause at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Grace Stone, Tayler Vance and Emily Neel all added two hits, with Tiffany Lacy, Carleigh Whitsell and Ashley Neel driving in runs. Stone and Lacy both tripled for the Lady Tigers.
Mercedes Willett and Blaire Kaufman had the lone hits for Sabine.
BIG SANDY 16, NEW SUMMERFIELD 1
BIG SANDY — Big Sandy scored six runs in the first, one in the second, five in the third and four in the fourth to roll to a 16-1 win over New Summerfield.
Morgan Collier and Destiny Haren led Big Sandy with two hits each.
Cheyenne Flores had a double and three RBIs, and Gabby Beason and Tesla Schmidt each added a double.
Jessica Parker struck out four batters in three innings for Big Sandy. Miranda Collier pitched the final inning.
Madison Rawlinson had a triple, single and RBI for New Summerfield, and Natalie Gamblin added a triple.
