Football Recruiting: John Tyler’s Kitan Crawford adds Oklahoma to his final three with Tennessee and Texas

John Tyler rising senior Kitan Crawford, one of the most highly recruited football players in the state, made a change to his top three colleges via Twitter on Thursday.

Crawford, who plays defensive back and running back for the Lions, kept Tennessee and Texas but dropped Baylor to add Oklahoma.

His Twitter handle is: @kitancrawford.

Other schools who have offered Crawford include: Arkansas, Arkansas State, Baylor, Colorado, Houston, Illinois, Kansas State, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Nebraska, North Texas, Oklahoma State, SMU, SFA, TCU, Texas A&M-Commerce, Tulane and Virginia Tech.

Crawford also competes on the JT track team, running the 100-meter dash as well as the 4×100 and 4×200 relays.



He helped John Tyler finish second in the 4×100 meter relay at the state track & field meet, dashing to a time of 40.61 seconds.
