Investigators seek information about string of Tyler, Smith County burglaries

Investigators are looking for two men they believe have burglarized four Tyler and Smith County businesses.
Law enforcement officials said one man using a crowbar or sledgehammer to make entry, according to a Tyler Police Department news release.
The dates and locations of the burglaries are:
Aug. 6, Race Runner, 2216 E. Fifth St., Tyler;
Aug. 30, Exxon Station, 19360 U.S. Highway 69 South, Smith County;
Sept. 2, Chevron Station, 12675 Texas Highway 64 West, Smith County;
Sept. 9, Rite Track Valero, 1736 E. Gentry Parkway, Tyler.
Once inside, the men steal a large amount of tobacco products and leave the area within minutes. The burglars have their faces covered and there is no suspect vehicle information.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
