Deputies charged Caylon James Whittington, 28, of Tyler, with resisting arrest search or transport. He was in Smith County Jail Friday and released the same day. He had a $20,000 bond.
Deputies charged Roger Alexander Werth, 48, of Gun Barrel City, with driving while intoxicated for the third time or more. Werth was in Smith County Jail Monday with a $100,000 bond.
Deputies charged Juan Jose Vasquez, 41, of Tyler, with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content level equal to or greater than .15. Vasquez was in Smith County Jail Saturday and released Tuesday with time served.
Deputies charged Hunter Graham Thibodeaux, 26, of Tyler, with possession of a penalty group two controlled substance between 4 and 400 grams. He was in Smith County Jail Saturday and released Monday with a bond not set.

Officers charged Dallas Francis Carson, 20, of Lindale, with injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent to cause bodily injury, abandon/endanger child criminal negligence and assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Carson was in Smith County Jail Friday and released the same day. He had bonds of $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500.

Troopers charged Jose Ivan Vasquez, 27, of Venuz, with driving while intoxicated, no driver’s license (when unlicensed), open container and an immigration detainer. Vasquez was in Smith County Jail Sunday and released to another agency Tuesday. He had bonds of $500, $255 and $255.
Troopers charged Oscar Lee Newberry, 26, of Tyler, with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia by a minor and no driver’s license (when unlicensed). Newberry was in Smith County Jail Sunday and released the same day. He had bonds of $500, $255, and $255.

Officers charged Wade Glenn Mathis, 24, of Ben Wheeler, with possession of penalty group one controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, two charges of possession of penalty group one controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, parole violation and unlawful possession of firearm by a felon. Mathis was in Smith County Jail Sunday with bonds of $5,000, $10,000, $100,000, $10,000 and $10,000.
