TYLER — Paul M. Bagnall, age 78 of Tyler, Texas, joined his wife, Grace Bagnall in heaven on May 11th, 2020.
Paul was born August 24th, 1941 to Roy K. Bagnall and Alberta G. Sharpe in Erie, PA. He had many adventures with his younger brother Harold Bagnall, who preceded Paul in death this past January. Paul spent time as a youngster living in various towns in Ohio including Twinsburg, Macedonia, and Brunswick. At a young age, Paul met the love of his life, Grace Heydorn, and after a short courtship, they married on June 25th, 1960. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage until Grace’s battle with cancer ended on February 28th, 2010. Paul was a successful businessman who worked his way up from grocery store clerk to Regional Manager for M&M Mars. Paul, along with his wife, raised their children in Ohio, and later in California, where Paul enjoyed teaching his children how to play football, baseball, and basketball in the yard. He was very proud of his children’s accomplishments both on and off the field. Paul and Grace retired in Tyler, Texas where they attended The Woods Baptist Church. Paul loved playing dominoes with his friends and completing jigsaw puzzles.
Paul is survived by his 4 children, Deborah (Dana) Fry, Mark Bagnall, Rick Bagnall, Andrew (Lael) Bagnall. Paul enjoyed his grandchildren, Johanna Zaragoza, Ben Fry, Amanda Baze, and Erica Kendall, Camren and Morgan Bagnall, and Matthew, Emma, and Ryenn Bagnall. He also loved to laugh along with his 6 great-grandchildren: Jase, Weston, Elisha, Parker, Peyton, and Fletcher.
A service will be held later this summer where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Paul’s life.
