Ricky Lynn Gregg’s self-titled debut album peaked at No. 37 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart on this date in 1993.

 Gregg was born in Henderson and raised in Longview. 

 The album produced the top 40 country hit “If I Had a Cheatin’ Heart.”
