Three Whitehouse football players transferring to Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill

Three Whitehouse football players announced on Twitter that they will be transferring to Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill.
Austin Barron started the trend earlier in the week, and Trae Hawkins and Bryson Cobb followed suit on Friday.

Barron, a wide receiver in the Class of 2021, had seven catches for 160 yards and two touchdowns as a junior for Whitehouse.
Hawkins, a Class of 2021 linebacker, had 50 tackles, eight sacks, 17 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles as a junior for the Wildcats.
Cobb, a Class of 2021 defensive back, had 34 tackles and two pass deflections as a junior for the Wildcats.
Whitehouse went 8-4 this past season and advanced to the second round of the playoffs before falling to Barbers Hill.
Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill competed in TAPPS Division II, District 2 this past season with Grace Community and Bullard Brook Hill, along with Dallas Christian and McKinney Christian.
The Tigers went 13-1 and won the TAPPS Division II championship. Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill won all of its playoff games by at least 29 points, including a 48-19 victory over Regents School of Austin in the title game.

Just weeks after that third straight state title, it was announced that Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill would be terminated from TAPPS.
On Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill’s coaching staff is Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, who serves as the offensive coordinator. Sanders’ son, Sheduer, is the team’s quarterback and is a four-star recruit with offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Oregon and Baylor.
TAPPS schools are unable to schedule Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill, but the Tigers have picked up out-of-state games for the upcoming season. Included on Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill’s schedule this season are two-time defending Class 7A champion Bryant (Arkansas), Clarksdale (Mississippi) and Fort Myers Dunbar (Florida).
