BULLARD — On Monday, August 19, 2024, Tristan Andrews, age 14, left us far too soon in his hometown of Bullard, Texas. Born in Crestview, Florida, on July 28, 2010, Tristan quickly proved that he was the absolute best brother to Graycee, Baylee, and Allyee, and an unending source of joy and positivity for his parents, Jason and Stephenie Andrews. Tristan’s adventurous spirit took flight when his family moved to Guam, adding to his collection of unforgettable experiences, including a favorite trip to Korea. He had a knack for brightening even the gloomiest day, whether with his radiant smile, charming wit, or his quick, often sarcastic humor. His teachers adored him for his politeness and well-mannered nature, even though he really hated school. Gaming was Tristan’s ultimate passion. He loved it so much that he’d sometimes fall asleep with his VR goggles still on?a testament to how his dreams were as expansive as his gaming ambitions. With aspirations of becoming a professional gamer and video game designer, he was merely giving his future a head start, one power nap at a time. Tristan’s love for gaming was rivaled only by his talent for baseball. His natural born skills on the field were almost as impressive as his fondness for dill pickle sunflower seeds. Though he was also a fan of bowling and golf, he mostly enjoyed golf for the quality time it meant with his dad and grandpa. A true gentleman and romantic at heart, Tristan could sweet-talk anyone in his orbit. His charm worked on everyone?from the ladies to his parents, who were often persuaded to order his favorite take-out, egg drop soup. And of course, he was always up for crab legs or his dad’s asparagus. At home, Tristan was often snuggled up in his onesie, after serenading the whole house while in the shower. If he wasn’t gaming, then he could be found wrestling with his best friend and sister, Allyee, or scaring themselves silly with a ghost-hunting game. He loved teasing Graycee about her country music tastes, even though he knew all the lyrics himself. His colorful mohawk earned him the nickname “Rooster,” but purple remained his favorite color?because, it’s the color of royalty. Tristan’s life was a whirlwind of hugs (which he gave the best), laughter, and boundless energy. Though his time with us was tragically brief, his legacy of love and warmth will continue to light up our hearts. In honor of his remarkable spirit, the family will hold a memorial service. For those wishing to honor his memory, flowers or items may be sent to 120 Lake Lou Ella Dr. Bullard, TX 75757. Tristan, you’ll forever be remembered for your infectious smile, positive energy, and your talent for turning every moment into an adventure. Rest in peace, Rooster. May your next adventure be as wondrous as those you shared with us. We love you Always and Forever
