Daily, a senior, has led Army to a 6-0 record, including a 44-10 victory over Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday in West Point, New York.
For his performance, the Abernathy High School graduate has been named the Week 7 winner of The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week, Cindy Smoak, executive director of SPORTyler, announced on Tuesday.
Daily accounted for five touchdowns as Army extended the nation’s longest active winning streak to 10 games.
Daily rushed for 136 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries and completed 3 of 7 passes for 102 yards and a TD before coming out early in the third quarter. Daily, who registered his fifth consecutive game with at least 100 rushing yards, ranks eighth nationally at 123.0 yards per game and is third among FBS players with 14 rushing touchdowns.
The Cadets are ranked No. 23 this week, while Navy (5-0) is No. 25.

Army and Navy have not each been unbeaten at this point in a season since 1945, weeks after World War II ended and in the era when service academies were powerhouses of the sport.
