Residents and staff at Asher Point Independent Living of Tyler gathered recently for the community’s Fall Fest and raised donations for the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Smith County. In addition to the fundraiser, the residents donated 20 stuffed teddy bears to provide comfort to children served by the CAC.

The fundraiser served as an opportunity for residents to contribute meaningfully to a cause that supports young people in Smith County. Community staff and residents worked together to make the fundraising event a success, recognizing the difference their collective efforts could bring to children in need.

“Our residents continually show a strong commitment to helping others,” said Sarah Fults, Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing of Asher Point Independent Living of Tyler. “The opportunity to support the Children’s Advocacy Center is something our community values, and we’re grateful for the generosity shown by everyone who participated.”

The CAC of Smith County provides essential services to children and families in the community, including support and advocacy during challenging times. Asher Point Independent Living of Tyler’s contributions will assist in their continued efforts to help children feel safe and cared for.
