Jake Westbrook scored 18 points to lead Frankston to a 69-48 win over Elkhart.

Westbrook surpassed 1,000 points for his career.

Frankston led 13-6 after the first quarter, 29-21 at halftime and 52-35 after the third quarter.

Brayden Madison had 13 points. Peyton Jaco scored 12, and Brayden Gray put in 11.

Other scorers were Tyler Rogers 4; AJ Donnell 4; Reese Hicks 4; and Joseph Allen 2.



Tyler HEAT 56, Dallas HSAA 32

Aiden Shelton scored 10 points as Tyler HEAT took a 56-32 win over Dallas HSAA.

Other scorers were Eli Anderson 9; Ben Holmes 8; Trey Madrid 6; Waker Hartman 6; Kedren Penney 6; Jet Bell 5; Coen Starr 4; and Nathan Barnes 2.

Tyler HEAT also picked up a 66-61 victory over Athens.

Hartman put in 18 points. Shelton had 14, Starr 11 and John Hall 10.

Bullard 67, Big Sandy 42

BIG SANDY — Tyler Lamberth poured in 32 points as Bullard took down Big Sandy.

Other scorers for the Panthers were Dylan Kress 9; Luke Alexander 8; Drake Thigpen 5; Landon Paddack 5; Caden Cummings 3; Steven Villani 2; Brandt Crenshaw 2; Cade Craig 2; and Walker Garcia 1.

Martin’s Mill 64, Chapel Hill 53

UNION GROVE — The Bulldogs dropped a 64-53 decision to Class 2A No. 1 Martin’s Mill in the championship game of the Union Grove Tournament.

The Bulldogs, playing without five players and three starters to the football playoffs, were led by Anthony Smith with 15 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks. Isiah Mayfield had 14 points and nine rebounds. Jordyn Bradshaw had 8 points and 12 rebounds.

Other scorers for Chapel Hill (6-2) were Jorden Ford 5; Ryder Steele 5; Marquis Collins 4; and Jaylon Ford 2.

Chapel Hill had a 70-50 win over the ETHS Chargers behind 28 points and six steals from Marquis Collins II. Collins hit five 3-pointers.

Bradshaw scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Jorden Ford added 11 points and five steals.

In a 78-71 win over Sabine, Collins had 26 point and four steals. Jorden Ford had 23 points, seven steals and 11 assists, and Mayfield added 12 points and 17 rebounds.

Brook Hill 66, Union Grove 41

UNION GROVE — Beck Langemeier scored 22 points as Brook Hill pulled away for a 66-41 win over Union Grove.

Brook Hill led 18-5 after the first quarter, 31-12 at halftime and 51-30 after three quarters.

Other scorers for Brook Hill were Roy Rudzinskas 12; Jio Orrico 10; Zac Ryle 7; Holt Robertson 5; Luke McNeel 4; Cam Ryle 2; Tyler Sitton 2; and Braxton Durrett 2.

Brook Hill took a 67-46 win over Sabine. Langemeier had 28 points, and Robertson scored 11.

In a 43-39 loss to Chapel Hill, Rudzinskas scored 10 points.

Against ETHS, a 57-53 Brook Hill win, Rudzinskas scored 13 points, and Majus Afanasjev had 11.

Alto places second at Latexo

LATEXO — Alto placed second at the Latexo Tournament, defeating New Waverly (66-48), Slocum (61-54) and Trinity (59-54) before falling to Onalaska (95-69).

JJ Rollins led the way against New Waverly with 13 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Chris Johnson had 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks, and Tim Bond had 12 points and seven rebounds.

Derek Jordan had 20 points and three steals against Slocum. Rollins had 14 points and eight rebounds, and Bond had 10 points.

Bond led the way with 19 points, five rebounds and five steals against Trinity. Rollins had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson had 11 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Tyler Jordan had 10 points and four assists.

Against Onalaska, Rollins and Derek Jordan each had 16 points. Rollins also had eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks. Bond added 10 points and five assists.

Brownsboro 82, White Oak 32

BROWNSBORO — Mann Scott put in 24 points to lead Brownsboro to a rout of White Oak.

Amry Parmer had 18 points. Keaton Delaney scored 14 points. Peyton Brockway had 10 points.

Other scorers for Brownsboro were Logan Epperson 5; Rolan Reddic 5; Jacob Fulgham 4; and Gabe Hendricks 4.

Braydon Brather led White Oak 10 12 points.

Hallsville 81, Longview 52

David Baliraine (19) and Grayson Magestro (16) combined for 35 points, and the Hallsville Bobcats stormed out to a big lead after one quarter on the way to an 81-52 win over the Longview Lobos on Saturday.

Kamryn McDonald added nine points for Hallsville, which led 20-8 after one quarter and 48-25 at halftime. LV Williams and Kobe Gaut added eight points apiece for Hallsville. Camron Bean had seven, Kyeson Lewis six, Gabriel Moore five, Chris James two and Kaleb Rettig one.

Elijah Lloyd scored 21 points in the loss for Longview. Jacorian Stevenson added 12 points, Jeffrey Smith six, Campbell Liebengood five, Markeilynn Flowers and Zachariah Biggs for each and Jayden Tyeski three.
