Frankston’s Kaysie Nabors (HUDL)

Hawkins’ Alaya Scoggins and Frankston’s Kaysie Nabors were named to the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State Volleyball Team for the 2024 season.

Both middle blockers, Scoggins and Nabors were named to the third team.

Scoggins had 268 kills and 88 blocks and was the district’s Co-Hitter of the Year. Nabors had 68 aces, 447 kills, 72 blocks, 30 assists and 285 digs.

Honorable mention selections from East Texas were middle blockers Alanah Logan (Cross Roads) and Ciara Carpenter (Detroit); outside hitters Bella McClain (Detroit), Taylor Campbell (Union Grove) and Karsyn Coleman (Beckville); setter Taetum Smith (Hawkins); and libero Gracey Struwe (Beckville).
