Ray Nell “Pippin” Colville

GALLATIN — A funeral service for Ray Nell “Pippin” Colville, age 88, of Gallatin will be 3 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Taylor Cemetery in Gallatin. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Arrangements provided by Autry Funeral Home Jacksonville.

Mrs. Colville passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Jacksonville. She was born on May 13, 1936, in Jacksonville.

Ray Nell retired from Rusk State Hospital in January 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ora Dee (Jenkins) Pippin; her husband, John T. Colville Sr.; and her sisters, JoAn Dement, Bobbie Harper, Mary Pearl “Dit” Holder and Mickey Pippin.

Survivors are her son, John Colville and wife Debbie of Rusk; sister-in-law, Gloria Brewer of Pickton; and her grandchildren, Jared Thomas Colville and wife Katie, of Cypress, Caitlynn Jeanell Harris and husband, Jeremy, of Rusk. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Jenna Colville, Mason Harris and Miles Harris.
