Neches senior Kacie Trimble was selected as the Player of the Year on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 1A All-State Volleyball Team for the 2024 season.

Trimble, an East Texas Baptist University signee, led the Lady Tigers to the Class 1A championship match, where they fell to Harrold.

Trimble finished the season with 662 kills, a .244 hitting percentage, 69 aces, 84 blocks and 318 digs. She had 31 kills in the state final.

Trimble landed on the first team, along with Neches teammates Sealy Hines (outside hitter) and Joely Jenkins (setter).

Neches outside hitter Aubrey Kincade was an honorable mention selection.

Hines had 409 kills, 108 aces and 289 digs.

Jenkins had 1,232 assists, 94 kills, 81 aces and 328 digs.

Kincade had 168 kills, 406 digs and 27 aces.

Harrold head coach Mindy Patton was named the Coach of the Year in Class 1A.
