Several traffic signals in Tyler, including along Broadway Avenue, are currently without power.

Drivers should treat intersections with dark signals as four-way stops, coming to a complete stop and taking turns to proceed.

The city’s Traffic Operations Department is working to place generators at key intersections, but some signals may remain out. Oncor has been notified and expects to restore power by 1:30 p.m.

Motorists should remain alert and drive with caution.
