ROCKWALL — Ja’Corian Oes and Jayden Jones combined for 36 points as Tyler Legacy dropped a 64-57 decision to Rockwall in District 10-6A play on Friday.

Oes had 19 points and five rebounds. Jones had 17 points and five rebounds.



Tyler Henry had 6 points. Zyere Ceasar, Gage Nuckolls and JP Rainer all scored 4 points. KJ Cyres added 3 points.

Nuckolls had three steals and three assists, and Henry added three assists.

Legacy (13-12, 1-2) will host Forney at 7 p.m. Friday.

Bullard 72, Marshall Christian Academy 54

BULLARD — Tyler Lamberth scored 33 points to lead Bullard to a 72-54 victory over Marshall Christian Academy.

Lamberth connected seven times from downtown.

Layne Alexander made four triples on the way to 16 points.

The Panthers made 15 3-pointers as a team.

Other scorers were Dylan Kress 7; Caden Cummings 6; Luke Alexander 5; Phillip Montoya 3; and Cade Craig 2.

Bullard played at Jefferson Monday and will play at Center on Friday.

Chapel Hill 88, Cumberland Academy 59

NEW CHAPEL HILL — Anthony Smith had a double-double as the Chapel Hill Bulldogs took down Cumberland Academy 88-59.

Smith had 17 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks.

Marquis Collins had 14 points and eight steals. Trevor Brooks scored 13 points. Jorden Ford had 12 points, 10 assists and five steals. Demetrius Brisbon had 11 points and four steals. Isiah Mayfield had 8 points, 10 rebounds and a block. Other scorers were Jermey Harper 5; Ryder Steele 4; and Malik Gee 4.

Chapel Hill (19-4, 3-0) will host Gilmer on Tuesday.

Kemp 67, Brownsboro 62

BROWNSBORO — Mann Scott scored 22 points, but Brownsboro dropped a 67-62 decision to Kemp.

Keaton Delaney scored 20 points for the Bears.

Brownsboro trailed 20-17 after the first quarter, led 38-27 at halftime and led 54-46 after three quarters before being outscored 21-8 in the fourth quarter.

Other scorers were Jacob Fulgham 5; Amry Parmer 5; Lane Shaw 4; Gabe Hendricks 3; and Danton Wright 2.

Brownsboro will play Athens at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Athens.

Troup 47, West Rusk 38

NEW LONDON — Braxton Barton scored 16 points to lead Troup past West Rusk for a 47-38 victory.

West Rusk led 16-15 after the first quarter and 25-22 at halftime, and Troup led 33-30 after three quarters.

Other scorers for Troup were Caden Graves 11; Bryce McElroy 9; Tre Anderson 5; Keenan Foster 4; and Carson Davenport 2.

Scorers for West Rusk (8-7, 1-1) were Kameron Brown 13; Kemontrea McGregor 12; Tucker Heathco 8; Marcus Castillo 2; Antwan Starling 2; and Axel Sipes 1.

Troup (16-5, 2-1) will host Tatum at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

Brook Hill 46, Dallas Christian 40

DALLAS — Roy Rudzinskas and Luke McNeel scored 16 points to lead Brook Hill to a 46-40 win over Dallas Christian on Friday at the American Airlines Center.

Other scorers for the Guard were Majus Afansjev 6; Jio Orrico 3; Holt Robertson 3; Cam Ryle 2; and Zac Ryle 2.

Brook Hill (19-3) will start district play Tuesday against Dallas Cristo Rey.

Arp 59, White Oak 54

The Arp Tigers used a big second half to rally for a 59-54 District 16-3A win over the White Oak Roughnecks.

White Oak, which got 18 points and five rebounds from Brayden Bratcher, led 36-25 at halftime, but Arp cut the deficit to 43-38 heading into the final stanza before outscoring the Roughnecks 21-11 in the final eight minutes.

Campbell Sutton added 16 points and eight rebounds for White Oak. Tysen McClain had eight points, two blocks and three steals, Andrew Rector six points and 10 rebounds and Scotty Breitenberg six points and seven rebounds.

Center 71, Jacksonville 56

JACKSONVILLE — Tim Johnson led the way for the Roughriders with 26 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals, and Center notched a 71-56 win over Jacksonville.

Jimmarion Smith added 12 points and 19 rebounds, JaKevin Robinson 10 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Carson Bush eight points, Travis Belin six points and BraCadon Robinson two points.

Mount Enterprise 60, Cushing 44

CUSHING — Kaegan Ash recorded a double-double with 18 points, 13 rebounds and three assists, Tanner Wilburn and Bryce Durrett both scored 12 points and Mount Enterprise earned a 60-44 win over Cushing.

Tracey Thompson had eight points and seven rebounds, Kahlen Solomon six points and three assists, Alex Ward two points and Jase Webb two points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals for Mount Enterprise. Durrett also had three steals.

GIRLS

Bullard 47, Rusk 32

Lila Robertson scored 15 points as Bullard took a 47-32 win over Rusk.

Other scorers for the Lady Panthers were Lanna Kidd 9; Savanna Lewis 8; Allison Edwards 7; Aariyah Campbell 4; and Emmalee Neuhaus 4.

JoHannah McDonald led Rusk with 11 points.

Bullard (14-9, 1-0) will host Hudson at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Chapel Hill 61, Cumberland Academy 33

NEW CHAPEL HILL — Aryssa Cooper had 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals as Chapel Hill took a 61-33 win over Cumberland Academy.

Ayana McGill Gardner had 12 points, four assists and three steals. Lorena Taylor hit three 3-pointers on the way to 11 points. Necie Johnson had 9 points, four rebounds and two steals. Ra’Nyah Tomlinson had 7 points and five rebounds.

Chapel Hill will host Gilmer on Tuesday.

Troup 36, West Rusk 35

NEW LONDON — Quenja Jordan scored 14 points as Troup held off West Rusk for a 36-35 victory.

Other scorers for the Lady Tigers were Zaquirah Jordan 9; Jakeira Davis 7; Paisley Skinner 4; and Kayla Manlick 1.

Troup (18-4, 4-1) will host Tatum at 6 p.m. Friday.

Brownsboro 64, Kemp 22

BROWNSBORO — Chyann Stidham scored 19 points as the Brownsboro Beareattes rolled to a 64-22 win over Kemp.

Brownsboro led 16-5 after the first quarter, 37-14 at halftime and 53-18 after three quarters.

Other scorers for Brownsboro were Emma Scott 10; Parmer Fitzgerald 9; Kynsie Daniels 9; Riley Smith 5; Natalee Smith 4; Tiykeah McKenzie 4; Sadie Piper 2; and Bradie Cooper 2.

Brownsboro (16-9, 2-3) will play at Athens on Tuesday.

Henderson 44, Gilmer 35

GILMER — The Henderson Lady Lions used a balanced scoring attack to earn a 44-25 District 16-4A win over the Gilmer Lady Buckeyes on Friday.

Kyeisha Clater had nine points and three steals, Anya Jackson eight points, six rebounds and seven steals and Danita Gonzalez seven points and four steals for the Lady Lions, who trailed 21-17 at halftime.

Tyra Tyeskey added five points and four rebounds, Baleigh Deese four points, Keyounie Alexander three points and three rebounds, Rhenia Derrett and Kenedi Hogg three points apiece and Kyla Tyeskey two points and eight rebounds.

Harmony 44, Hughes Springs 27

HARMONY — In District 13-3A action, Triniti Mauk scored 16 points, Evie Helpenstill added 15 and the Harmony Lady Eagles earned a 44-27 win over the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs.

Rendi Seahorn added five points, and Mally Davidson and Kenner Pylant scored four apiece for Harmony. Mauk also collected seven rebounds, and Davidson had six steals and six rebounds. Seahorn also came down with seven rebounds.

Diamonique Bowles had 14 points in the loss for Hughes Springs. Kate McKinney added four, Texcee Kelley and Jordyn Moore three each, Kinlee Twilley two and Lilyana Brantley on

Hawkins 52, Harleton 28

HARLETON – Londyn Wilson led the way for Hawkins with 16 points and a couple of steals, and the Lady Hawks moved to 4-0 in District 21-2A play with a 52-28 win over Harleton.

Taetum Smith filled the stat sheet with 10 points, seven rebounds, six steals and six assists. Alaya Scoggins added eight points and two assists, Alana Gipson six points and three steals, Jentri Evans three points, five rebounds and five steals, Haylee Skipworth three points, Keiper Pruitt and Addy Turrentine two points apiece and Ava Ellison two points and two steals.

Wills Point 39, Caddo Mills 22

The Wills Point Lady Tigers opened district play with a 39-22 win over Caddo Mills.

Lacey Luna scored 12 points and Amaya Kennedy added 10 for Wills Point.
