Cervera said this is one of many events the clubs puts on as a way to give back to the community.
“At Raceway Car Club we are vehicle enthusiasts that like to give back,” he said. “We do various activities through the year to help our community in different ways including school supply drives, provide Christmas for some families, participate in the Lowe’s Toy Drive, and much more.”
East Texas Crisis Center Director of Marketing and Public Relations Jeremy Flowers said the dedication of the car club to support the community is evident through events like car show.
In the previous two years, the event has raised more than $25,000 with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the crisis center.
The event included over 100 trophies, cash giveaways, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, and a live auction. The show also featured a dunking booth, a kids’ zone, vendors, food trucks, and a DJ.
