TROUP — The Troup Tigers won the annual Glen Evans Basketball Classic held Dec. 27-28 in Troup.

The Tigers were first, followed by Cayuga, Alto, Apple Springs and Harleton.
Troup’s Caden Graves was named Tournament Most Valuable Player with teammate Braxton Barton tabbed Top Defender.
Earning all-tournament honors were Cayuga’s Gunnar Douglas and Dominique Johnson, Alto’s Chris Johnson and Jamarion Rollins, Apple’s Zeth Dugat and Harleton’s Landon Johnson.
Troup scored wins over Cayuga (60-31), Harleton (64-36), and Apple Springs (60-40). Alto won over Troup 66-63 in overtime.
On Tuesday, Troup downed Douglass, 66-28, in Troup.
The Tigers improved to 15-5.

Scoring for Troup were Caden Graves (14), Carter Graves (12), Logan Chambers (12), Barton (10), Bryce McElroy (6), Carson Davenport (5), Keenan Foster (4) and Tre Anderson (3).
Tigers making 3-pointers were Caden Graves (4), Carter Graves (3), Chambers (2), Barton (2), McElroy (2) and Davenport (1).
Douglass players were Brayson Woods (7), Caleb Balcorta (7), ZaKevion Watson (6), Kamaury Sheffield (4), Achilles Hess (2) and Amarion Mintor (2).
Troup returns to play on Friday, traveling to New London to meet West Rusk in a District 16-3A contest. Tipoff for varsity is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Chapel Hill 75, Pine Tree 69, 3OT
NEW CHAPEL HILL — Jorden Ford, Isiah Mayfield and Dee Brisbon each hit for 15 points to lead the Chapel Hill Bulldogs to a 75-69 triple overtime win over the Pine Tree Pirates on Tuesday in a District 16-4A basketball game on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs improved to 18-4 overall and 2-0 in District 16-4A. The Pirates fall to 10-9 and 1-1. Chapel Hill returns to play on Friday, hosting the Cumberland Knights with the first game scheduled to begin at noon. The varsity game is slated to start around 2:30 p.m.
Others scoring for CH were Trevor Brooks (12), Marquis Collins II (9), Malik Gee (6) and Anthony Smith (3).
Hitting 3-pointers were Ford, Collins, Gee, Brisbon and Brooks.
Mayfield added 16 rebounds for a double-double. Smith added eight boards. Both Mayfield and Smith had two blocks apiece.
