Robert Manley

Habitat for Humanity of Smith County’s Search Committee recommended, and by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors, approved Robert “T-Ray” Manley III as the affiliate’s new Chief Executive Officer. Manley’s role with HFHSC officially began last Thursday.

Manley joins the Habitat team with nearly two decades of nonprofit leadership experience, most recently serving over five years as Chief Executive Officer at a nonprofit organization in Dallas.

“We are all encouraged to love our neighbors, care for each other, and work together for the greater good,” Manley said. “I look forward to bringing people together to build homes, foster communities, and make a lasting impact in Tyler, Texas and surrounding counties. Join us as we change lives and strengthen communities.”

Manley is no stranger to the mission and work of Habitat for Humanity, as he served over two years as Chief Operation Officer at Habitat for Humanity of Collin County.

Manley holds a bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University, as well as a master’s degree in Cultural Leadership and Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
