Boys Basketball: Dallas Lincoln scores win over Lions

DALLAS — The Dallas Lincoln Tigers scored a 53-31 win over the Tyler Lions on Tuesday a basketball game.
The game was tight until the fourth quarter when the Tigers outscored the Lions, 20-5. Lincoln led 20-16 at halftime and 34-26 entering the fourth period.

Derrick McFall led the Lions (3-9) with seven points, followed by Jace Sanford (6), Geordon Mitchell (5), Marquette Martin (5), Jasyn Grayson (4), Kenson Anderson (2) and La’Marcus Lamb (2).
Lincoln (4-6) was led by Zechariah Bennett (14), Jakorian Jackson (13) and Byron Eaton Jr. (11).
Tyler returns to play on Monday, hosting Swish Australia at the Lions Den. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
All Saints 50, New Summerfield 31
Sachit Basoor and Caz Franks each scored 16 points to help power All Saints to a 50-31 win over the New Summerfield Hornets on Tuesday at Brookshire Gym. Basoor hit two 3-pointers.
Also scoring for the Trojans (4-7) were Jackson Hill (8), Emerson Hadnot (6), Connor Kirkpatrick (2) and Manny Mizer (2).

Rains 55, Chapel Hill 54
NEW CHAPEL HILL — The Rains Wildcats edged the Chapel Hill Bulldogs, 55-54, on Tuesday at Bulldog Gym.
Chapel Hill (9-2) hosted a Toy Drive.
Isiah Mayfield’s double double led the Bulldogs (27 points, 16 rebounds). Other contributor were Malik Gee (11 points), Jorden Ford (7 points), Jordyn Bradshaw (7 points) and Timothy Jenkins (2).
The Bulldogs are still without six players and three starters with the football team in the Class 4A Division I semifinals.
Chapel Hill returns to play on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Rusk.
Pine Tree 44, Brownsboro 30
BROWNSBORO — The Pine Tree Pirates defeated the Brownsboro Bears, 44-30, in a non-district basketball game.
Dylan Downey led the Bears (7-3) with 10 points, including two 3-pointers. Others scoring for Brownsboro were Isaiah Dawson (5), Keaton Delaney (5), Bralen Kirkpatrick (4), Quincy Mitchell (4) and Jacob Fulgham (2).
Dealyn Evans led Pine Tree (4-2) with 13 points, followed by Jaeden Williams (11), Kalil Deckard (7), Trevion Nafrady (5), Jakivyn Taylor (4) and Isaac Thurmond (3).
Nafrady and Thurmond had one 3-pointer apiece.
Pine Tree won the frosh (46-38) and JV (42-40) games.
Brownsboro will play host to the Great East Texas Shootout this week. On Thursday, the Bears play Henderson at noon and Mineola at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, Brownsboro plays Nevada Community at noon.
Brook Hill 49, Pollok Central 44
BULLARD — Brook Hill broke out a big first quarter lead of 17-5 en route to a 49-44 win over Pollok Central on Tuesday at Herrington Gym.
Beck Langemeier led the Guard with 25 points.
Also scoring for the Guard were Lex Rich (9), Avery Ko (6), Luke NcNeal (5), Ryder Williams (2) and Alvaro Moreno Vazquez (2).
Langemeier hit six 3-pointers, while Ko and McNeal hit one apiece.
Brook Hill (5-2) will now host the Brook Hill Invitational. The Guard plays Rusk at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Lone Oak 67, Troup 58, OT
LONE OAK — Ethan Cook scored 18 points, Tre Hubbard (14) and Bryce Rigdon (11) joined him in double figures and Lone Oak rallied for a 67-58 overtime win against Troup.
Troup led 17-10 after one quarter and 34-21 at the half, but Lone Oak rallied to force overtime and outscored the Tigers 15-6 in the extra frame.
Carter Graves had 15 points, Trae Davis 13 and Jarett Castillo 11 for Troup.
