Charles W. Norman

LINDALE — Charles W. Norman, age 80 of Lindale passed away Sunday December 17, 2023 in Lindale, Texas. He was born May 5, 1943 in Brownsville, Tennessee. A graveside service was held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at Lindale City Cemetery. Officiating the service was Mike Coyne. Charles was in the Army and a church member at South Main Church of Christ in Lindale. Charles has lived in Lindale since 1973 and he owned and operated Norman Tire Service in Tyler for 43 years before retiring in 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Rosabelle (Southam) Norman; sisters, Jean N. Mable, Jo Ann N. Fox, Peggy N. Pendergrast; brothers, Donald W. Norman and Benjamin Norman. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Trudy P. Norman of Lindale; son, Stephen Norman of Austin; daughters, Lora N. and husband, Danny Rhodes of Lindale, Tami N. and husband, Bryan Tacker of Austin; grandson, Joshua Osinski of Winona; granddaughters, Abby and Emily Tacker of Austin; along with several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Heritage Home and Hospice in Tyler at 5070 Kinsey Dr, Tyler, TX 75703.
