The Tyler Lions freshman basketball squad finished the 2024-25 season 28-1 overall and captured the District 10-5A championship with a 14-0 record. Team members include: Romello Bendy, Keylan Bircher, Gerald Davis, Keiundrae Ekwuruke, Makhyre Hartsfield, Caleb Hernandez, Keylen Johnson, Markeithian Potts, Gerald Singleton, Christion Taylor, Kayden Walker and Payton Wallace. Patrick Colbert is head coach of the squad.

The Lions JV finished second in district with an overall record of 25-7 and 12-2 in district.

Team members include: Katrell Alexander, Ja’Caleb Black, Daniel Bush, Ja’Michael Cook, Charles Davis, Jayden Dews, Raykell Ford, Caden Granberry, Jaylon Hall, Damien Robinson, Chace Spencer, Cameron Stanley and Braxton Tatum. Randall Thompson is coach of the JV team.
