The Children’s Park of Tyler on Monday morning announced Stephanie Lamb as its new executive director.

With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and community engagement, the organization said Lamb brings a strong vision and steadfast dedication to the organization.

Lamb’s career demonstrates her ability to “build meaningful relationships, create impactful programs, and inspire collaboration,” the nonprofit said.

She has previously served as the Executive Director of Community for Hope, where she successfully developed a four-part program serving nearly 400 clients and built strategic partnerships across East Texas. Prior to that, Lamb served as Operations Director for Freedom Seekers International, where her leadership helped significantly reduce budgets, increase fundraising revenue, and oversee resettlement programs for refugees. Her tenure with the United Way of Smith County’s East Texas Center for Nonprofits further highlights her experience in nonprofit training and resource development.

In her new role, Lamb will oversee the park’s operations, community programming, fundraising efforts, and strategic initiatives to further its mission.

“The Children’s Park has long been a sanctuary for families and a place of beauty and healing. I am honored to serve as its Executive Director and to build upon the legacy of love and hope that it represents,” said Lamb. “I look forward to working with the community to ensure that this park continues to be a source of connection, reflection, and joy for generations to come.”

The Children’s Park of Tyler was founded in 2004 to honor the lives of children and provide a place of peace and reflection for families in the community. Located in the heart of Tyler at 110 E. Dobbs St., the park features serene water features, walking paths, and spaces dedicated to the memory of children who have passed away. Over the past two decades, the park has become a treasured gathering space for families and a vital resource for healing and connection.

Jennifer Carson, founder of The Children’s Park of Tyler, shared her excitement about the appointment.

“Stephanie’s leadership and unwavering commitment to serving families make her the perfect person to guide The Children’s Park into its next chapter. Her vision and experience align perfectly with our mission, and I am confident she will continue to enhance the impact of this special place.”
