Black Wellness Expo, Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m., 1543 E. Grande Boulevard in Tyler (APEC). The Black Wellness Expo returns this year with a focus on prioritizing personal well-being. Black History Expo, Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m., 415 Fair Park Drive in Tyler (Mayfair Building). Learn about Black history and support local vendors at this free event which will include a college and career fair, presentation of Tyler’s First Families, food trucks, local performances and more. S.T.E.M. Like a Girl, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 308 N Broadway Avenue in Tyler (The Discovery Science Place). Middle school students in grades 6-8 are invited to participate in a hands-on STEM learning event led by local female STEM professionals, UT Tyler professors, and the TJC STEM Club. The event will feature interactive STEM activities, mentorship opportunities, and lunch provided by AAUW. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Winter Formal on Ice, Saturday, 6 p.m., 4538 S. Broadway Avenue in Tyler (The Discovery Science Place). Fathers and daughters are invited to dress in their finest attire and enjoy an enchanting night of ice skating, music, dancing, and photo opportunities. Refreshments will be served. This family-friendly event celebrates the special bond between fathers (or father figures) and their daughters, with all ages welcome. Tickets are $40 per pair, and availability is limited. Boots and Pearls Fundraiser Gala, Saturday, 6 to 10:30 p.m., 700 Eagles Bluff Boulevard in Bullard (Eagles Bluff Country Club). The Bullard Education Foundation’s annual fundraiser offers a night of entertainment and giving. Guests are encouraged to dress in cocktail or western chic attire. Little Big Techs Hands-on Showcase, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 214 N. Fredonia Street in Longview (Gregg County Historical Museum). Little Big Techs will bring hands-on science and technology activities to downtown. Two downtown museums will feature STEM-related activities provided through partnerships with area schools, creating an engaging environment where both children and adults can explore science. BYOM, Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., 101 E. Tyler Street in Longview (The Pink Candle). The Pink Candle is hosting a Bring Your Own Mug Candle-Making Party, offering a cozy and creative experience for all ages. Participants can bring their favorite mug and transform it into a custom candle while enjoying a warm cup of hot cocoa. The event includes wax, a wick, a choice of scent, and a custom-designed label. Alpine Target Golf Center is helping players gear up for tournament season with a clinic focused on improving course management, putting and the short game. 19th Century Play Day, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, 407 W. Travis St. in Marshall (Starr Family Home State Historic Site).
