After sweeping Bossier Parish on Saturday, the Apaches play host to Northeast Texas Community College on Wednesday in a baseball doubleheader at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Mike Carter Field.

The first game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. (7-innings), followed by the second game at 3:30 p.m. (9-innings).

Tyler Junior College is 24-19 on the season and tied for second in Region XIV North Zone with Paris (31-13) at 16-10. Navarro (26-16) leads at 17-9. NE Texas is 16-24 and 6-18. Bossier Parish (23-16) and Angelina (23-21) are tied for fourth at 12-14.

SMOKE SIGNALS: The Apache Ladies softball team returns to play on Wednesday, hosting Paris Junior College in a Region XIV Conference game on the TJC campus. The Apache Ladies DH with Seminole State last week in Seminole, Oklahoma was canceled. TJC is 18-20 overall and 6-6 in conference. The Lady Dragons lead the East Zone at 26-10 and 10-2.
