Meet Jim — Pets Fur People’s Pet of the Week, Feb. 21-22, 2026

This happy, handsome boy’s name is Jim. He is available for adoption at Pets Fur People in Tyler and is ready to find a loving home of his own. Jim is an 8-month-old mixed breed who is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and more than ready for his next chapter. He was abandoned at the shelter’s gate with his two sisters, who have both been adopted, and now it’s his turn to be chosen.

Jim is the total package. He loves to play, go on walks, run, and just be footloose and fancy-free! He adores other dogs and would be thrilled to meet a new best friend during a meet-and-greet. Have cats? Pets Fur People is happy to cat-test him. Kids? He’d make the ultimate playmate!

While Jim is always ready for adventure, he also knows how to relax. Give him a soft place to land and some attention, and he’ll happily curl up beside you and soak up every bit of love. He’s truly something special.
