Pedestrian identified in fatal crash on Gentry Parkway in Tyler

Police have released the identity of a pedestrian who was killed after she was hit by a car Wednesday in Tyler.

Lindsey Null, 44, was fatally struck by a car on Gentry Parkway around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Tyler Police Department said in a Thursday afternoon update. She was not walking in a designated crosswalk when she was hit, police said.

The driver of the car was interviewed by detectives and no charges are pending. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Null’s family has been notified.
