One man is dead after a vehicle fell on on him in Tyler.

According to the Tyler Patrolman’s Association, officers responded to an EMS assist call on S. Palace Avenue on Saturday. They said a man was injured after a vehicle fell on him.

Officers reportedly freed him before EMS began to administer medical care. He was taken to UT Health and pronounced dead shortly after. The Tyler CID is now investigating his death.
