Girls Soccer Notebook: Tyler Legacy’s Brianna Garcia takes weekly honor

Tyler Legacy’s Brianna Garcia has earned Tyler Morning Telegraph Girls Soccer Player of the Week honors for games played March 3-8.

Garcia was the catalyst for Legacy’s district wins over Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath. Garcia scored game-winning goals in both games.



Garcia had two goals in a 3-2 victory over Rockwall and one goal in the 2-1 win over Rockwall-Heath.

In other outstanding performances in the area last week (nominated by coaches):

Tyler Legacy junior Joy Bryner anchored the defense in wins over Rockwall and Rockwall-heath.
