Agents execute search warrant at East Texas animal safari

VAN ZANDT COUNTY — Officials have confirmed that U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agents issued a search warrant at an East Texas animal safari on Wednesday.
Aubry Buzek, public affairs specialist for U.S. Fish and Wildlife, said the federal agency served a search warrant at the Canton Grand Safari Adventure, located at 9515 FM 1255 in Grand Saline. Further information about the search warrant was not immediately available.
According to its website, the safari has over 140 exotic animals, more than five interactive experiences and at least 10 education programs. It also boasts a passion for animal welfare.
