The Smith County Republican Women’s Club will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the Potpourri House, located at 3320 Troup Hwy. in Tyler. Fellowship will begin at 11 a.m. There is a lunch option for $15.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Brett Rogers. Rogers has served in a variety of political roles for over 20 years. Organizers say he brings a wealth of knowledge and insight about Texas’ political landscape.

The topic of discussion will be ‘Relentless Leadership Wins Every Time.’ Rogers will lay out an analysis of how he believes President Donald Trump is the standard for Republican leadership. He will also provide a ‘just the facts’ review and an update of the current situation in the Texas House of Representatives.
