TYLER — Thomas Clifton Weaver, 65, passed away peacefully under the care of hospice on Sunday, January 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with kidney cancer. He was born on December 10, 1959, in Marshall, TX, and grew up in Marshall, Corsicana, Athens, and Tyler. He had a deep love for sports, especially the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys, and could always be found cheering them on. Beyond sports, Tommy found joy in the simple things—he loved camping and spending time at the lake, enjoying the peace and beauty of the outdoors. He was known for his sharp wit and humor, often saying with a smile, “Tommy Wayne knows EVERYTHANG!!” But above all, he loved the Lord. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he was deeply devoted to Andrew Wommack Ministries. One of his greatest dreams was to return to Charis Bible College in Colorado. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Belva Weaver McDuffie; his father, James Glen Weaver; and his sister, Deborah Ann Weaver. He is survived by his brothers, sister, niece, and many cousins.
