WOOD COUNTY — A former East Texas pastor with a history of child sexual assault allegations has been arrested on a similar charge.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office said Friday it was seeking the public’s help in locating Timothy Daniel Nall, 68, of Holly Lake Ranch, who was wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a child. The Tyler Police Department arrested Nall, 69, on Saturday, according to Smith County jail bookings. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed the arrest.

Nall, whose bond is set at $100,000, has charges involving a different child victim than the one he is accused of assaulting previously. Over the years, he has been employed as a preacher and substitute teacher.
Similar allegations were made against Nall in 2023, and in Mississippi and Arkansas, where he previously served as a pastor.
In 2023, he was arrested in Wood County on a felony charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
In that case, the victim’s mother told police she saw Nall, who was pastoring at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Mineola, inappropriately placed his hand on another child at the church. This prompted her to ask questions, at which point her own child told her that Nall touched her, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
In June 2013, while pastor of Farmington Baptist Church in Corinth, Mississippi, Nall was charged with sexual battery against a young child, according to WREG.
Further details about the current allegations have not been released.
