The Tyler Legacy Red Raiders opened District 10-6A soccer action with a 5-1 win over Forney.

Henry Yolain had a goal and two assists. Axel Ruben had two goals and an assist. Jacob Aguilar and Luke Sanders each added a goal, and David Chavez had an assist. David Ray recorded the win in goal in his first varsity start.

The Red Raiders (7-1-1, 1-0) will play at Longview on Tuesday.

The Lady Raiders fell to Forney 3-1 in the district opener on the road.

Legacy fell behind 2-0 in the first 10 minutes. Lily Beckham scored on an assist by Mia Ledesma late in the first half.

The Lady Raiders (7-3-1, 0-1) will host Longview on Tuesday.
