HUDSON — Bullard rallied from 11 points down with five minutes left in the fourth quarter for a 51-50 victory over Hudson on Friday in a District 17-5A basketball game.
The Panthers improved to 19-8 overall and 4-1 in district. The Hornets are 13-15 and 3-2.
Tyler Lamberth scored 16 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter. Layne Alexander hit eight of his 11 points in the final period. Bullard outscored the Hornets, 24-13, in the final quarter.
Also scoring for Bullard were Caden Cummings (6), Dylan Kress (2) and Campbell Pawlak (1).
Lamberth, Alexander and Cummings each hit two 3-pointers.
After scoring three points in the third quarter, Bullard was on fire in the fourth period with 24 points.
Bishop Gorman 54, All Saints 53
The Bishop Gorman Crusaders edged the All Saints Trojans 54-53 on Friday at Haddad Gymnasium.
Jaylon Miles led the Crusaders with 22 points. He was followed by Beau Bender (13), Ryan Richbourg (11), Ej Coppock (4), Carlin Ifeadi (3) and Jack Coan (1).
The Cru (17-6, 3-2) hosts Dallas Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Trojans play hosts to Dallas Shelton at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
CHAPEL HILL 89, HENDERSON 31
NEW CHAPEL HILL — The Chapel Hill Bulldogs, ranked No. 25 in the state, defeated Henderson 89-31 on Friday in a District 16-4A basketball game.
The Bulldogs are 24-5 overall and 8-1 in district. The Lions fell to 4-20 and 3-6.
Jordyn Bradshaw led Chapel Hill with 24 points. He hit one 3-pointer. Isiah Mayfield had a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Other contributors for CH were Marquis Collins (14 points, 2 3-pointers), Jorden Ford (12 points, 3 3-pointers), Trevor Brooks (12 points, 3 3-pointers), Anthony Smith (6 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks), Dee Brisbon (5 points, 1 3-pointer), Malik Gee (4 points) and Jeremy Harper (2 points).
Chapel Hill returns to play on Tuesday with a contest at Cumberland Academy in Tyler. Henderson hosts Gilmer on Tuesday.
LINDALE 59, BROWNSBORO 43
BROWNSBORO — The Lindale Eagles won over the Brownsboro Bears, 59-43, on Friday in a District 15-4A basketball game.
Lindale is 11-16 overall and 3-5 in district. Brownsboro is 12-14 and 3-5.
Heath Miller led the Eagles with 21 points, followed by Davis Carnathan (17), Ty McCoy (9), David Lindig (7), Landon Buck (2), Reed Carnathan (2) and Aidan Blanco (1).
Miller had three 3-pointers with one each from McCoy and Davis Carnathan.
Mann Scott led he Bears with 12 points. He was followed by Keaton Delaney (10), Lane Shaw (9), Jacob Fulgham (3), Peyton Brockway (3), Logan Epperson (2), Amry Parmer (2) and Gabe Hendricks (2).
Scott had two 3-pointers.
Lindale won the JV (46-42) and Frosh (36-22) games.
Brownsboro visits Kemp at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Lindale visits Mabank on Jan. 31.
BROOK HILL 66, AUSTIN REGENTS 33
AUSTIN — Beck Langemeier hit for 25 points to lead Brook Hill to a 66-33 win over Austin Regents on Friday in a TAPPS 5A District 2 basketball game.
Others scoring for Brook Hill were Roy Rudzinskas (14), Jio Orrico (7), Holt Robertson (6), Majus Afanasjev (5), Zac Ryle (4), Luke McNeel (2), Cam Ryle (2) and Caden Swelling (1).
Langemeier hit five 3-pointers with Afanasjev adding one.
Drew Nouy led the Knights wit 20 points and three 3-pointers.
Brook Hill (23-4, 5-1) hosts Garland Brighter Horizons at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
TROUP 41, GLADEWATER 36
GLADEWATER — Carter Graves and Caden Graves combined for 23 points to help the Troup Tigers to a 41-36 win over the Gladewater Bears on Friday in a District 16-3A.
Troup goes to 20-6 overall and 6-2 in district. The Bears drop to 0-19 and 0-8.
Carter hit for 12 points and Caden added 11. Also scoring for Troup were Carson Davenport (8), Braxton Barton (5), Keenan Foster (4) and Logan Chamber (1).
Hitting 3-pointers were Carter Graves (4), Caden Graves (3), Davenport (2) and Barton (1).
Brayson Woods led the Bears with 13 points. He was followed by De’Ashton Mills (9), Amari Mintor (8), Caleb Balcorta (4) and Zee Watson (2).
Woods had two 3-pointers.
Troup won the JV game (45-35).
The Tigers play host to Troup at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Gladewater visits Tatum on Tuesday.
KILGORE 83, CUMBERLAND 40
KILGORE — Kayson Brooks knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 15 points to lead the Kilgore Bulldogs to an 83-40 District 16-4A win over Cumberland Academy.
Brayden Williams chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds, and Jayden Sanders had five steals for the Bulldogs.
WHITE OAK 67, SABINE 58
LIBERTY CITY — Campbell Sutton drilled five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points, Brayden Bratcher just missed a double-double and the White Oak Roughnecks earned a 67-58 District 16-3A win over the Sabine Cardinals.
Bratcher had 14 points, nine rebounds and two steals for the Roughnecks, now 2-5 in district play. Scotty Breitenberg added 10 points, Andrew Rector eight, Mac Smith seven, Tysen McClain six and Brady Prazak three.
Hudson McNatt scored all 21 of his points in the second half for Sabine. Dalton Taylor added 11, and Colt Sparks finished with 10.
