Tyler Legacy won its third straight district game, defeating North Forney 61-56 on the road.



Ja’Corian Oes finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists and made the only two 3-pointers as the Red Raiders survived a 2 of 11 outing from downtown.

Zyere Ceasar finished with 13 points, four rebounds and two blocks. Jayden Jones had 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Other scorers for Legacy were Gage Nuckolls 9; JP Rainer 6; and Josh Hall 4. Nuckolls, Rainer and Hall all had three rebounds. Nuckolls had three assists, and Hall had two blocks.

The Red Raiders (16-12, 4-2) will host Royse City at 7 p.m. Friday.

BULLARD 61, MADISONVILLE 39

BULLARD — Layne Alexander and Tyler Lamberth combined for 42 points as Bullard took a 61-39 win over Madisonville.

Alexander hit seven 3-pointers on the way to scoring 23 points. Lamberth finished with 19 points.

Other scorers for the Panthers were Luke Alexander 6; Caden Cummings 5; Dylan Kress 4; and Cade Craig 4.

Bullard (17-8, 2-1) will host Rusk on Tuesday.

GIRLS

CHAPEL HILL 52, CARTHAGE 41

NEW CHAPEL HILL — Aryssa Cooper finished with 16 points, six rebounds and five steals to lead Chapel Hill to a 52-41 win over Carthage.

Necie Johnson and Ra’Niyah Suell each scored 11 points. Johnson had six rebounds and four steals, and Suell added six rebounds.

MADISONVILLE 52, BULLARD 48

BULLARD — Aariyah Campbell and Lila Robertson each scored 16 points, but Bullard fell to Madisonville 52-48.

Other scorers for the Lady Panthers were Lanna Kidd 9; Allison Edwards 3; Emmalee Neuhaus 2; and KK Mercer 2.

Bullard (16-11, 3-2) is tied for second in District 17-4A with Palestine. The Lady Panthers will host Rusk on Tuesday.
