AUSTIN — The Brook Hill soccer teams swept a TAPPS Division II District 2 doubleheader against Austin Brentwood Christian on Monday afternoon.

In the girls game, the Guard won 4-0. Brook Hill won the boys game 5-0.

BOYS

Enrico Gilbert scored two goals and goalkeeper Christian Pous made two saves to lead the Guard.

Also scoring goals were Jose Gonzalez, Jack Barber and Javi Gavito.

Assists were from Gonzalez, Jemezu Tesie, Asa Kerr and Renato Faria.

The Guard improves to 9-1-1 overal and 3-0 in district. The Bears fall to 2-3 and 0-3.

Brook Hill returns to play on Friday, visiting Austin Regents for a 7 p.m. contest.

GIRLS

Hadleigh Clark scored two goals and Riley-Jane McCord had four saves for the clean sheet in the victory.

Peyton Byars and Sophia Bonin added goals for Brook Hill.

Scarlett Kerr had two assists.

The Guard (4-6-1, 2-1) returns to play on Friday at Austin Regents.
